GENT’S OPENING DAY – 13 April 2024

The gent’s held their opening day on Saturday 13 April.  We had guests from Ayr Craigie BC and Troon BC helping us to celebrate.

We were extremely fortunate that the weather turned in our favour just in time to go out onto the green.

The President invited Sam; our youngest member to deliver the silver jack and a couple of bowls and Sam was presented with a card and gift voucher as a thank you for doing this special job for the club at the start of the season.

We had all six rinks in play and it felt good to be back on the green.

After play we had a meal and then our evening entertainment was provided by Croc Roc where a good number of members danced away the evening. It was good to see some of our new members at the meal and enjoying the entertainment.

It was another successful opening day and I would like to thank all those who helped make it such a good day, your support was much appreciated.
