Saturday 5th August saw the inaugural running of the above competition.

Two groups of seven played a singles Round Robin over 6 games of 3 ends, and the top 4 players on highest up shots progressed to the semi-finals.

The semi-final line up was   1 Margaret Rodger v Russel Frame.

2 Biilly Richmond v Kenny Finlayson.

Due to heavy rain the games were postponed to Sunday 6th at 10.00am.

After 2 very close games the finalists were Billy Richmond and Russell Frame.

The final was played over 5 ends with Billy Richmond becoming the first recipient of the Vice Presidents Trophy.
