Saturday 9th July saw the annual Cook Triples take place. Another great day was had by all members in the Summer sun. The 3 section winners and best runners up qualified for the Semi Finals. Section A was won by  Eileen Phillips, Joe Turnbull and Willie Wallace. Section B was won by Marion Thomson, Sandi Wallace and Jim Lindsay and Section C was won by Emily, Jamie and Tommy Houston. The best Runners Up were Sheila Muir, Andrew Muir and Paul McConnell.

In the Semi Finals the Houston trio beat the team skipped by Willie Wallace and were joined in the final by Sheila, Paul and Andrew, who came through a tight tussle against the team skipped by Jim Lindsay.

The 8 end final was another close affair with the Houston trio just coming out on top by a score of 8-4.

All members now look forward to the next two weekend events which are the open pairs and the inaugural Jim Coutts Mixed Triples.
