SENIOR PAIRS COMPETITION 2020 RULES
The competition will be run on a league basis, with teams playing each other once.
A weekly draw sheet has been published and included below. The first drawn team shall be responsible for booking the rink. Players shall keep the score and inform the Senior Convener (J Bruce 2) of the result.
Games will last 1 1/2 hrs or the first team to reach 21. If there is a no show by any team, they will forfeit the points. Points will be awarded with 2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw. If teams are unable to get a rink within the stated time, 1 point will be awarded to each team.
The draw is posted on the Seniors notice board and on the Website. Games to played between Sunday and the next Sunday.
Players are reminded that this is a fun competition and there may be teething problems as we get underway. Players should be aware that they will not have priority over Club members when booking rinks.
