It’s 50 years since Ladies were allowed to play at Prestwick Bowling Club on Midton Road, a big milestone and a big reason to get all our lady members together and celebrate. We started off with a photoshoot with the Ayrshire Post and our own Matt Bulloch. Bulloch Construction were sponsors for the day and we are very grateful for their support.

56 Ladies including past Presidents and visitors from Howie and Troon Bowling Clubs played for a new Ladies trophy donated by Mr and Mrs Kelly. We hope this is going to be a yearly game honouring the first ladies from Prestwick.

The winning team were Betty Rodney, Jean Patterson, Margaret Patrick and Margaret Rodger. We then enjoyed a delicious meal provided by Sea Breeze followed by Bingo to let the meal settle. We then went straight to the wine and Disco provided by our DJ Matt
