Unfortunately the annual Ladies v Gents game was rained off, which meant the Ladies (as previous holders) retained the trophy for another year. Members enjoyed a pleasant afternoon’s chat including an impromptu quiz provided by the President and a nice meal.

The Gents game against Wattfield did go ahead and resulted in a narrow win for the visitors. A better result was obtained in the 1^st round of the Charles Smith with a convincing win over Kincaidston at Ayr.

The next club competition is the Patrick Rosebowl on the 8^th June,  which is followed by the Supper Social on the 22^nd.
