Ladies Tuesday Group

The PBC Ladies Tuesday Group will be starting up again on Tuesday 7th October at 1345(1400 start).  There is a full and varied programme to take us up to the end of March next year.  The first week we will be talking about ‘Summer Memories’ and the following three weeks we will have speakers covering a variety of topics.  If you have never been to the Ladies Tuesday Group and are a member of PBC, you are warmly invited.  We meet weekly with a £1.00 contribution per week for tea/coffee.  We don’t have speakers or activities every week, usually every fortnight with the other Tuesday being called a ‘Catch Up’ where members talk, some knit or play carpet bowls.  You will be provided with a printed syllabus outlining the programme until
the end of March 2026

Bickerton Trophy 2025

September 6th

BICKERTON TROPHY

What a day of bowling!
As Club President Bryan said during the trophy presentation, “It was a green full of young, nearly young, and no-longer-young bowlers,” — and the talent, skill, and expertise shone through right to the very end.
The semi-finals saw Team Jamie N take on Team Emily H, and Team Jamie H face off against the Charleston BC team. Both matches were closely contested, but the final end between Jamie H and Charleston was an absolute nail-biter — down to a measure that saw Charleston edge through to the final against Emily’s team.
The final was nip and tuck all the way, but in the end, it was Team Emily who came out on top to lift the trophy! ????
A fantastic PBC event — once again!
A huge thank you to the Bickerton family, represented yesterday by Craig, for their continued and generous support of the club.
Of course, these events wouldn’t be possible without the amazing help behind the scenes:
???? our trusty score markers
???? the thirst quenchers
???? and the belly busters!
Thank you all! x
