Championship Semi Finals
On Friday 14th August, the semi-finals of our Ladies and Gents championships will be getting played at Prestwick. The games will start at 6:30pm and we have what are sure to be 4 great games on the green.

BRONZE MEDAL FOR CHLOE & EMILY.
Congratulations to Chloe & Emily for getting a bronze medal in the Scottish Youth Pairs. Unfortunately it was hard lines for the girls in their semi-final against a strong pair from West Barns, but a great run to the semi-finals. Best wishes to the boys from West Barns in the final

McDonald Agnew Results
Congratulations to Dennis Hendren who won his game last evening in the ATL McDonald Agnew singles. Dennis now progress’s to the next round next Monday 17th August @Crooksmoss BC
In the other game Hawkhill progressed to the next round.

Nationals Update
YOUTH PAIRS
Congratulations to Chloe & Emily who won their Quarter Final in the Scottish Youth Pairs this morning. They now play the semi-final at 4pm today at Northfield.
The girls game will be on the “Live Stream” on the Bowls Scotland Facebook page, so be sure to tune in.
YOUTH TRIPLES
Unfortunately it was hardlines for Lucas, Sam & Leon in their game this morning. Hard luck boys but what a great experience playing at the National Finals. We are sure you will be back in the future.
TJS Open Pairs
Yesterday we welcomed 36 pairs of members and visitors to Prestwick for our biggest open competition of the season so far, our TJs Open pairs, sponsored by Tracey and John of TJs catering services. We had a fantastic day with lots of great bowls and thankfully the weather held up for most of the day.
After the completion of the group stages, the beaten quarter finalist were Greig Curran & Joe Bell, Stuart Cadwell & Campbell Ingram, Stephen McCulloch & Michael Byers and Sandy & Kieran Hamilton.
After 2 close games in the semi finals, our beaten semi finalists we Ian & John McAllister and Stephen McMillan & Keiren Johnston.
And after a brilliant final, that went to an extra end, the winners were George Robertson & Jamie Noon, who beat our runners up Chris Duffy & Junior Cole.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the day a great success, and thanks once again to Tracey and John for their sponsorship of the tournament.
