Ladies Tuesday Club
The Tuesday ladies group enjoyed a fascinating talk by local author Carolyn O’Hara today. Carolyn took us on a journey back to 1898 where we heard humorous stories that her great grandfather had written on the observations of life in Ayr for his weekly column in the Ayrshire Post. Would you believe he was talking about the state of the pot holes and many other topics which are still being discussed today! Carolyn delivered her presentation with great ease with humour and enthusiasm. The ladies thoroughly enjoyed her talk.
Next week we have a talk from the team from the Safe and warm project, South Ayrshire. I hope to see you all there.
Thanks Lesley
